2002 : Lam Soon (M) Berhad's state-of-the-art soap finishing line located in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor began operation. Apart from its high performance, it has many other unique features and capable of producing soap of single formulations into different shapes, sizes or wrapping designs.

2004 : Lam Soon (Thailand) diversified its business with the acquisition of Universal Food Public Company Limited or “UFC”. UFC carries on the business of processing and marketing of tropical fruits and vegetables, fruit juices, seasoning and sauces. It has 2 factories located in Lampang and Nakom Pathom provinces in Thailand.

Besides, UFC holds a 58% stake in Union Frost Company Limited whose businesses are manufacturing and selling of frozen vegetables and fruits. Its factory is located in Lampang province.
